The Center for Faculty Development provides resources and programming for all faculty, full-time and part-time, to promote excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship. The Center seeks to foster community and collegiality by encouraging ongoing dialogue about the complexities and challenges of researching, teaching and learning and offers resources to help faculty members reflect on and achieve their professional goals as teachers and scholars at all stages of their academic career. In short, we help identify faculty initiatives, programs, and needs and provide the space and resources for developing them.

We are not a governance organization; we are a communicative network of faculty devoted to helping provide on the ground organization for various faculty-led initiatives on campus. We partner with many offices on campus to support events, opportunities for faculty, and communication among the community.
